FALAFELS

I bloody love falafels but don’t like the fact they are always deep fried.. Making them couldn’t be easier or healthier! A great plant based option to add protein, carbs and fibre to your meals! (and totally packed with so many key nutrients including iron!)

+ soak dry chickpeas in a bowl of water for at least 4 hrs (overnight ideal if possible) + Add chickpeas to food processor/blender until broken up + Add a cup of parsley, juice from one lemon, big dash of paprika & cumin & salt, 1/2 onion, 1 garlic. Blenddddd
+ roll into balls and flatten on baking paper with a fork
+ bake on 180 degrees until crispy, half way through turn over. I cooked mine for about 25 mins .
Add these to your lunch salads or have with veggies for dinner! Drizzle with tahini and enjoy 😘😘😘
