Hot chips are πŸ’―πŸ’― my achillies heel, anyone else with me on this? I absolutely cannot resist them if they are in front of me (never have, never will), BUT I can resist ordering take out if I can make my own version at home.. undoubtably a healthier option and bloody delicious!

I try to avoid deep fried food as much as possible (everything in moderation), as vegetable oils are the oils used in which i try to stay away from as they are highly processed and are inflammatory in our bodies! To make matters worse these oils are commonly reused again and again in the deep fryers creating a whole lot of toxicity.. not something we want to be putting into our bodies on a regular basis!! βœ‹

A better option is to make them yourself when you can!πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

+ Chop your potatoes into wedges, then give them a good rinse and pat fry with a cloth to get the excess starch off to ensure they go crispy.
+ In a bowl with your wedges, add some good quality olive oil, a generous dash of paprika to cover all the potatoes and sea salt, stir it all together so it’s coated evenly.
+ Lay flat with some separation in between each chip and bake on 200 degrees until super crispy, should take about 45 mins or so.l depending on your oven. Half way through turn them for an even crunch.

Delicious with mashed avocado πŸ₯‘ for some yummy healthy fats in there.

Enjoy πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜ and eat with love πŸ’—
